PuckIQ is your daily companion for NHL predictions and analytics. Every game day, our algorithm analyzes team performance, recent form, head-to-head history, and situational factors to deliver data-driven picks you can trust or challenge.
THE DAILY CHALLENGE
Each day, PuckIQ presents you with two types of AI predictions. The Lock of the Day is our algorithm's highest-confidence selection, backed by the strongest analytical edge we can find. Smart Picks cover additional games where the data points to a clear favorite. Make your own picks on any game and track whether your hockey instincts can outperform the machine.
TRACK YOUR ACCURACY
Every pick you make is recorded and measured. See your win-loss record, accuracy percentage, and current streak at a glance. Compare your performance directly against our Smart Picks and Lock of the Day to find out who really knows hockey better. The Pick History screen lets you review every prediction you have made, filter by pick type, and analyze your performance over time.
GAME DEEP DIVE
Tap into any matchup for a comprehensive breakdown. The Game Deep Dive shows you everything driving our prediction: team standings, recent form, goals for and against, power play and penalty kill percentages, and head-to-head records. Period-by-period scoring breakdowns help you understand how games unfolded after the fact.
PICK RESULT ANALYSIS
When games finish, see exactly how your picks performed. The Pick Result modal shows the final score, period-by-period breakdown, and whether your prediction hit or missed. A visual prediction bar shows how confident the algorithm was and where the result landed.
EXPLORE TEAMS AND PLAYERS
The Explore tab gives you access to league-wide analytics. Browse all 32 NHL teams with detailed stats, recent performance trends, and current streaks. View player statistics and see who is leading the league in goals, assists, and points. Power Rankings show you where every team stands with goal differential, points percentage, and current form.
STREAKS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Build momentum with win streaks and earn recognition for your picks. Track your current streak, best winning run, and worst losing stretch. Unlock achievements as you hit milestones for total picks made, accuracy thresholds, and consecutive correct predictions.

Version 2.2.0 brings enhanced pick analysis, improved performance, and important bug fixes.
PICK RESULT MODALS
When you tap on a completed pick, you now see a detailed result modal with the final score and period-by-period breakdown. A visual prediction bar shows the algorithm's confidence level alongside the actual outcome, helping you understand how close each game was to the prediction.
YESTERDAY'S RESULTS
The Yesterday's Results section has been repositioned on the Today screen for better visibility. Quickly see how your previous day's picks performed before making new selections.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
The app now loads faster on startup. Data loading has been consolidated to run in parallel, reducing the time between opening the app and seeing your picks. Debug logging has been optimized for production builds.
ENHANCED PICK HISTORY
Tapping on any pick in your History tab now opens the full Pick Result modal, letting you review detailed game information for any past prediction. See the score, period breakdown, and prediction confidence for games from your entire pick history.
USER INTERFACE IMPROVEMENTS
Consistent spacing has been applied throughout the Today screen for a cleaner look. Card colors now properly follow the app's theme across all modals and result screens. The Pick Result modal has been made more compact for easier reading.
BUG FIXES
Fixed an issue where the app could crash when reopening from the app switcher.
Resolved a problem that could cause infinite loading when opening Pick History or Pick Result modals.
Fixed button states not updating correctly after confirming a pick.
Corrected an issue where user picks made from the home screen were not being saved properly.
Addressed data inconsistencies between the Today and Picks screens.
